I was watching an ebay auction for a Peter Bermudez concert ukulele (item #200221347209, I was not the winner). It looks like a nicely made uke. I did win an auction for an unusual 6-string tenor Haiku Uke (item #150242999083) which may have been built by him, but looks way different from the concert ukulele. I did a quick Google and all I could find was that Joe Sousa apprenticed with Pete Bermudez before starting Kanilea. I'm guessing they were decent instruments. Is he still building ukuleles? did someone on FMM win the concert uke? Just curious if anyone has any other info. I like learning about Hawaii's independent ukulele makers.
