| I have been badgering Jon to do a version of Surder Girl (Beach Boys_) ever since I first heard his Don't Worry Baby cover on the Uke. This is another 5 star effort Jon. A real big thankk you for doing this, you did the song, the arrangement and the vocals proud. Just out of interest Jon, Surfer Girl was the very first song I learnt on the Ukulele. dave Maclean a big J Pak fan. |

Hi, Dave! Thanks for your encouragement and support. Wow, I think "Surfer Girl" is kind of challenging for anybody learning the uke because of the key change before the last verse.

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it! The soundtrack on this one took a lot of time, so I'm glad you like it.
PB, I surfed the Internet looking for those surfer girl pictures to use in my video. It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it!

| That was excellent John. You do such a good job on the song and the uke and the video. Although, those photos of girls will drive me to the gym this afternoon.

| Going to the gym didn't do much for me, but I watched your video again and learned from your video. I realized how simple your strum is and decided I would devote the next two weeks or so to simplify my strum. Is this a metaphor for life?

Thanks, Charlie! Looking forward to seeing you later this month!
Thanks for your comments, singndance! That's about as simple a strum as there is. Ha ha!
The left hand really has a little bit of a challenge. Near the end of the song, there's E and Eb, and the change from Ab to Abm6 takes a little bit of practice, well at least for me.
