| Just wondering if anyone else is counting the days like me. Someone around here mentioned May 26 as the day Martin is sending the new ukes out to thier dealers, so I'm hanging my hopes on that. I'm curious how many people are biting on the style 3 designs. |

| I got my 5K from Elderly in Lansing, MI. I put down a 10% deposit nine months before the arrival date. It was right on time. Elderly posts all its arrival dates with each instrument when they are new or special/limited edition items. All the Martin Style "3" ukes are expected on the 25th. Or as we say in ukulelese: seventeen rather high-anxiety filled days!!

I am waiting on two of the new ones.... but both customs:
1. 3 Cherry but without the red stain - all natural wood!
2. 3-K with a kite inlay in the headstock and a bowtie inlay in the 7th fret.
The first was ordered quite a long while ago, and is expected to be ready when the standard ones become available later this month. Hopefully!

| Cool for you Northern Uke. I'd love to see one of the new ones. The fanciest Martin soprano I have is a style 1. Great uke though. I really like the lines down the style 3 fretboard. I almost asked to have my Glyph made like that.

Would love to, northernuke! I think the cherry ones are the coolest of the new bunch.
Toebone, my Style 1 Martin sounds better than my 3 so in my book, 1s rule! After all, the real proof in the pudding is how it sounds and what we do with it. Anybody can collect a boatload of ukuleles, what we do with them is really what gets my respect, and you only need ONE ukulele to do that.
