| I just received my concert flea (natural) and can't put it down! What fun. Sounds great and plays easily! I meant for it to be an outdoors (beach, kayak, biking)alternative to my solid wood ukes, but I can tell it will get plenty of indoor use as well. I like it! |

| Congrats! I'm jealous, but in the good way. I played my Flea with the black Hilos for a while, tried Aquilas and liked them, but now the Martin Flourocarbons really sing. Good luck!

Congrats on the new Natural. I have two Fleas. Pineapple concert and a Uke Can Change the World soprano. Both with Aquilas. Love 'em. One's for school and one's for home. BTW, I won the World uke right here on the FMBB!

| I liked the sound of the black strings ok, but I couldn't see them against the black fretboard(as a newbie I still need to look) so I changed them for a set of Aquilas earlier today, problem solved and they sound even better. In doing so, found the tuners to be a little flimsy and am thinking about upgrading, not to the $69 ones but to the grover B4 ($12). Anyone had experience with those? As in, are they easily installed and worth the effort?

| I love my Fleas and Flukes! I keep one at school (work) at all times. " I meant for it to be an outdoors (beach, kayak, biking)alternative to my solid wood ukes"... So, who needs these travel ukes?

| I adore Fleas. I love my tenor Fluke too, but I really dig everything about the Flea.

| Hi obxtom !! I swaped out the 2B tuners on my Fluke for 4B's without much trouble.. You need to be able to press in the post bushing.. I was able to push them in finger tight and then use the post itself with a pair of pliers to pull them the rest of the way end.. One trick to these on the Fluke and Flea !! The posts almost touch inside the headstock so you'll want to put in oposing posts before assembling and tightening the pegs.. You need to be able to move them about a bit to get both posts in.. They are much smoother than the 2B.. Make sure you watch the way they go together with the plastic and brass collers in the right place.. Just mark down how they go when you pull them apart...
