An impromptu jam on the Dixieland tune 'Wabash Blues'. I was exhausted and had to try to remember where Ab was on the neck (laugh).

This was filmed last weekend - March 13, 2010 at the 26th Annual Texas Steel Guitar Association in Dallas, Texas in the Beard Resonator Guitar room.

I'm playing my Talsma electric tenor uke through a Roland AC-33 battery powered amp.

It was a treat playing with my high school buddy (seriously) Howard Kalish. Howard and I were in the same rock band in High School, he now lives in Austin, TX - and my new friends Gary Mortensen and Lyon.

Gerald Ross - Electric Ukulele
Howard Kalish - Fiddle
Gary Mortensen - Beard Reso Guitar
Lyon (?) - Harmonica

Wonderful, Gerald, wonderful. I always get a lot of enjoyment from your jam session videos. Keep posting them.

Loved it! And great timing for me as I've recently run across this song in "World-Famous Songs for the Ukulele", copyright 1950. I love picking up these older music books and making discoveries.
(Wabash Blues is copyright 1921 according to my book)
