The lineup for the 2010 NY Uke Fest has been announced:

I'll be attending and hopefully I'll get to meet some of the folks who helped me out on the "Square Pegs & Hound Holes" compilation including Gerald Ross, Tripping Lily, James Hill and Victoria Vox. Oh yeah, there's also some guy named Jim Beloff :)

Thanks for the link! I'm working with Ken Murray, a great uke man, putting the web together for the NY Uke Fest 2010. I just put up video and pictures of NY Uke Fest 2009.

The concert lineup sounds very interesting. I wish there was more info to go on. Just a suggestion from someone that's far out of town. I've never been to a NYUF. The expense of travel plus hotel and meals for the wonderful experience is something that has to be planned for and weighed against other things fighting for my limited resources. By the time the schedule is available and I can make a decision, the hotels have usually filled or the flights are prohibitive. If the schedule was fleshed out more, earlier, then that would help in making a decision. I know that this is easier said than done but even a ghost schedule is better than the scant info currently available. For example, there are 32 planned workshops but no info as to what they may be. It might be that the workshop presenters might not have all the info available but surely the topics are set.
For those more local, having the current info available now and dribbling out more info as it comes might seem like a mighty big nit to make of it. But when traveling, especially when investigating if it's possible to travel with family, more info available helps to prioritize this event versus other events throughout the year.
