| Was it a ukulele or a tenor guitar
that Jimmy Todd played on the
Mickey Mouse Club? And I wonder
who the mfg. was? |

| Jimmy played tenor guitar. It's
been probably 40 years since I've
seen the show, but my guess is he
played a Martin. You might check
on www.tenorguitar.com.

| Jimmy Dodd played tenor guitar.
The instrument he used was the
Original "Mouseguitar". I was
offerred one from the midwest
years ago and the deal never went
through.
Martin did not make this
instrument.I was told who did, but
I don't remember. I can only draw
a parallel to Buck Owens' Red,
White and Blue instruments. I was
told Gibson made the first one and
Harmony made them in production.
(Don't take this as Gospel)
Disney Studios had several of the
Mouseguitars. I often wanted to
make one, but successfully talked
myself out of it.
