Recently I was listening to some BBC-shows from Stefan Grossman, and I found a hidden treasure on the uke played by Ton Van Bergeyck, a Dutc h Guitarist. I plucked the tune out the total program and placed it over here: http://www.petercoen.be/muziek/uke.mp3
The tune is called 'Anno 1926,' The total show are free downloads (mainly guitarists): http://guitarvideos.com/radio/00radio.htm
You can find the total show in the contemporary fingerpicking part, Ton Van Bergeyck. |

This guy is amazing. I really enjoyng hear virtuoso finger pickin' guitar players performing on the ukulele.
THis is a great link. I enjoyed listening to the streaming radio programs featuring great contemporary finger picking guitar playes.
I think it's great when people shaare their finds.

I like it. That's a soprano uke in 'd' tuning with a low 4th string. It sounds like a guitarist playing guitar style patterns on a uke rather than someone who regularly plays the uke, but it's very well done.
I found this discography for Ton, http://www.wirz.de/music/bergefrm.htm There's a record shown called "The Entertainer" which seems to show a banjo uke player on the cover.
