Blackwater Ukulele Festival
The Charleston Hot Shots, V-Tones and Cypress Gardens are sponsoring a benefit ukulele festival for the Doc Williams SPCA. The price of admission gets you two free ukulele workshops, open mic session, access to ukulele vendors, and a free concert by the Charleston Hot Shots, V-Tones and special guest Kent Knorr. Buy a uke, learn how to play, and perform on the stage all in one day!!
The location provides non-uke players with additional entertainment in the form of miles of walking trails, an aquarium, nature center, butterfly house, gift shop, food vendor, craft vendors, gardens, boat rides, alligators (wild and caged) and talking birds (parrots). Bring the entire family!!
The festival will take place on March 19 at Cypress Gardens outside of Charleston, SC.
Regular park admission + $5.00 donation to the SPCA for participating in the festival.
