A Ukulele Afternoon with Liz & Jim Beloff
Bring your smile and join Friends of Scranton Library in welcoming Liz and Jim Beloff as they perform songs from their CD, “Rare Air” and other recordings. Before the performance Jim will give a brief overview of the colorful history of the ukulele and share some of their favorite encounters with famous uke players. At the end attendees will be invited to participate in a sing and strum-along (so bring your uke if you have one). CDs, songbooks and ukuleles available for purchase. See uke there! Open and free to the public. Pre-registration is recommended.
