Central Ukulele Festival
An annual fun celebration of music making for the whole community featuring primary and intermediate schools from the central region of New Zealand. Held in Palmerston North, New Zealand the festival's founder & creative director is Jennifer Moss. The festival is a blend of local talent, stalls, food, workshops and features a giant 'strum-along'. Fun for the whole family!

Let's Ukulele Benefit Concert
On August 10, 2012 Hafa Adai Entertainment, an event promoting company and Ronald McDonald House Charities is hosting the First annual “Lets Ukulele” Dinner and benefit concert with proceeds benefiting RMHC. Event will take place at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina located at 1380 Harbor Island Drive.
Doors will open at 5:30 pm, where you are welcomed by appetizers and be able to participate in a blind auction that consists of items donated by RMHC supporters from all over the world.
A two course Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm and followed by a few words from Ronald Mcdonald House Of Charities San Diego.
The Concert will commence at 8:00 pm to midnight which consists of Ukulele performers from our very own San Diego Communities and the Pacific Islands.
This year, our goal is to raise ($30,000) to help cover the cost of the basic needs for families far away from home. Some of these needs are a warm bed to rest, hot meals, laundry facility, and computer access.
