Firefly Banjo Ukulele
(FMM-E-130)
NOW AVAILABLE IN CONCERT SCALE! The Firefly Banjo Ukulele combines the ease of playing the uke with the distinctive sound of the banjo. The soprano Firefly shares the same 14” soprano scale and neck design as the Flea. The 8” head is synthetic Mylar-based Remo Renaissance with Acousticon pot, factory tuned and assembled. The simple open back design is lightweight, requiring no tuning of the head. Action is easily adjustable with shim washers where the dowel stick meets the tailpiece bracket. The Firefly comes standard with: Grover 2B tuners; walnut or maple neck; maple and ebony bridge; polycarbonate molded fret board and LaBella strings. Hardwood fret board option available. Maple neck comes standard with ivory tuners. PLEASE NOTE: photos of the Firefly shown here (with walnut neck) include the hardwood fretboard option. Also, at this time if you want a hardshell case for the Firefly you need to order the Fluke hardshell case. PLEASE NOTE: Regarding the CONCERT FIREFLY: The concert neck is 18 frets and an inch and one half longer than the soprano neck. Also at this time, it is only available with the hardwood fretboard option.
