Oh, man. So I've been MIA for a while, lost the internets, moved, major life changes abound...but...here's some good news...

The ukebucket CD is FINISHED. (sigh)

Ok, so, get ready for links:

You can buy it here:
http://cdbaby.com/cd/ukebucket

More info on the MySpace page...
http://www.myspace.com/ukebucket
...but in addition to the release of the CD, we're offering a rough, playful, download-able album of cover songs, Covered, available here:
http://rikkpalmer.com/AllCoveredUP.html

As of right now, the album is only available as a hard copy, but it'll be on iTunes in a couple of weeks. It takes a bit for these things to process.

Yay! Get your copy today! Haha...

Hot Dang! Well Amber, if this is anything like what you threw down at Meat N Taters it's gonna be great.

It's outta stock at CD baby, but I put my email down for when it returns.

Gotta get it, that Amber voice is special.

It would be cool if you also set it up for download on CD Baby. These days I am trying to not clutter up the place with more physical CDs. There are just too many already sitting here. Let us know about progress on that or iTunes.

Yeah, it is out of stock on cdbaby. They sold faster than expected, I guess. I'm sending a bunch tomorrow. The album will be available on iTunes soon and I'll update whenever that happens. They said it'd take a couple weeks to process.

And...I believe...there may also be ringtones available for download. Oooooooo!!!!!!

Thanks for the kudos, Neal. :)

What? Already sold out? Thankfully, a CD Baby catalog search early this morning revealed that your CD was now available and I promptly ordered some copies even before you made your announcement. Living fairly close to the CD Baby warehouse I often get delivery of my orders by the next day. So I'm hoping that by this time tomorrow I will have listened to the "Bad Ukulele" CD a couple times over. I've been looking forward to this for months. Congratulations on the release, Amber.

Just put my name on the list, Amber. I'm glad you put Grandma's House on the CD. I love that one.

Just received my CD this am. Am off to listen to it in my car as I do my errands. Anyone else hear it yet?

I look forward to it. Love your voice, and have thoroughly enjoyed your music so far. Congrats!

Thanks! Feel free to write a review of the album on the cdbaby website. And Pat, "Grandma's House" is a song I wrote for my Grandmother as a Christmas gift several years back. It's 100% an account of what my Grandma's house was like when we used to visit. I'm glad you like it...it's a very meaningful song for me.

FYI: I believe Sunday Morning Comin' Down is a Kris Kristofferson (sp?) song. Congrats on all this completed work! Exciting!

Just bought the CD from CDBaby ... thanks for the music.
Posted By: ukebucket Date: 8/8/2008 7:05:09 PM
Ah! Yikes! Yeah, I know it's a Kristofferson song. I've told Rikk to change it on the site. I'll tell him again. Pfft. Thanks for buying the CD!!!

Thanks for the compliments, foolish jac.

And thanks for buying 2, Ernie! Bad Ukulele... will hopefully make a wonderful gift.

Amber, I haven't finished listening yet due to some personal complications. I remember when you first put up Grandma's House way back and it sounds even better now. I do love your voice!

Thanks, Pat! Hope the personal complications worked themselves out. I'll be thinking of you.
