| Well it is not a "glossy" finish, possibly an "satin" finish??? More of a "natural" type finish, if that makes any sense?? I presume it is Koa body and mahagony neck???......Any idea of what this model retails for???

| I am assuming that this it is a "Satin" finish....Uncle Dave.........Not a shiny finish that is for sure kind of a dull finish.....I have heard all sorts of MSRP #600-800 dlls

We almost disqualified him... he was wearing a Koaloha shirt!
Congrats Tom - good job. We hope it brings you years of enjoyment.

Joe's always on "Hawai'i time." I've e-mailed him a couple of times over the years, and he always gets back to me--eventually! Just not instantly.
I'm the proud owner of a Kanile'a soprano with super-figured wood and the UV gloss. It's a beautiful instrument with a truly original soprano sound (somewhat like a really nice sounding classical guitar; harplike). The Kanile'a is my "vacation" uke. It has gone to Cabo and to the mountains a couple of times.
I know you'll enjoy your new uke. Kanile'a makes really nice instruments.

Tom1965 -
I'll see what I can do tomorrow re: your shirt - you DO need a new wardrobe.
Joe and Kristen have been really busy this past week as they leave for the 'Ukulele Picnic in Japan on Wednesday.
Once again, congrats.
