My 98 year old mother owned this tuple for years, and when she could no longer play it about 7 years ago, we asked Ukulele Dick to put new strings on it and freshen it up a bit. Now that mom has passed on, we need to find a home for this lovely instrument that has nary a scratch on it. We don't know the exact age, but we think she must have had it since the 40s at least, maybe earlier.
Please email me if you are interested. I can send you pictures. We are asking $500 or Best Offer. |

Hi Linda,
I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing.
Were you aware that this website also has a Marketplace section, where people can post instruments for sale? It's a free listing, and you can upload pictures of the tiple. It'll give your For Sale listing good exposure to a lot of ukulele enthusiasts.
I hope you find a good home for your mother's lovely instrument.

Over on the left hand edge of any fleamarketmusic.com page is a black column with a list of links, among them the link that will take you to the Marketplace page.
On the Marketplace page, near the top (above all the ads), is a link that says "Add A Listing!" Click on that, and it'll give you an easy form to fill out to create your For Sale ad.

Linda: Glad you found the Marketplace page. From the photos, this looks like a fun instrument. And given that you're apparently from the Santa Cruz area and hang out with cool folks like Ukulele Dick, why aren't you hanging on to it and playing it at Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz meetings? With 10 strings a tiple will blow the doors off all of those traditional ukes.
