Strange to see this thread resurrected after five years...
Lardy's database states the brand was reintroduced by a Japanese company (deviser/headway/asuka), the website and facebook page both refer to a Canadian company (welkin sound) but both haven't been updated since 2014 and 2012 respectively...
That inactivity suggests that the brand is inactive again, and some old stock is let off.
They bear little ressemblance to the old ones, and look like generic japanese ukuleles, with a logo slapped on.
