Congratulations. I am very pleased that a ukulele festival is returning to the So. Cal. area. I remember seeing James Hill perform at the festival in Cerritos about a decade ago. I'll keep the date open.

Festival update #1: James Hill is unable to make the festival this year due to unforeseen circumstances; although I am not at liberty to elaborate at this moment, please trust that it is a good thing, you'll probably catch wind of the reason right around the time of the festival. In light of this, the evening concert is being cancelled and the event will run all day from 10am-6pm; still just $35 to enjoy musical performances all day and take whichever/however many workshops you want! Purchasers of the evening concert ticket will be contacted individually and refunded.
Festival update #2: the festival website is up, with updated performer info and a preliminary performance schedule. Troy Fernandez is going to kick some serious ukulele booty!! Please visit http://losangelesukulelefestival.com/. Details for workshops, vendors and sponsors to follow - please spread the link to your friends and fellow uke enthusiasts. Mahalo!
