Hi All,
Some people are not ready to ship outside of US. Maybe a naive question but why that? We, your Canadian neighbours would be happy to enlarge our uke collections! Thanks! |

I imagine it depends upon the seller. Some may be leery of the higher shipping costs, the required customs forms, a fear of loss or damage in transit, or uncertainty about the amount of seller protection provided by PayPal. I suspect many sellers just aren't familiar with the process of shipping to another country and don't want to bother with it. I've shipped ukes all over the world, including Canada, with no problem. One time, though, I sold a soprano to someone in Canada and the uke was held up by Canadian customs for several weeks. This was before package tracking, so neither the buyer nor I knew what happened to it. That was nerve-wracking! (It all worked out in the end.)

I've sold and bought from all over the world. Most recently all the way from Tazmania, no problems at all. Easy to mail and fill out short custom forms at the post office. PayPal even has a longer time to deal with issues for international sales. I think it's great to interface with people from all over this planet! I had a great experience when I sold my Martin to Trevor in Brisbane Australia!
Keep on strumming!

Aloha Pieruke,
You all must have an arsenal of humidifiers to keep your ukes nice and 'happy'. I've sent ukes to Canada as well and it went through just fine.
keep on strummin' up there!

Hi Shawn,
No heavy duty humidifiers! Just a sponge in a zyploc bag! Cheap, safe and efficient!
