Hey there fellow Uke lovers! I received a beautiful custom hand made tenor ukulele for Christmas and I am in LOVE! I have been playing guitar for about 2 years and have been having so much fun. But when I got my beautiful KOA ukulele, I was blown away. It was made by Ken Potts in Lahaina, Hawaii. It is the real deal and the sound that comes from that beauty is amazing. I just can't seem to put her down for too long! My poor Taylor mini 6 string isn't getting too much attention these days!! If you want a beautiful ukulele that sounds incredible, I would suggest you check out Ken Potts - he is a true gem and will craft you the Uke of your dreams!
Anyway, with summer on the way, I wanted to know if any of you could suggest a quality, sturdy soft case for my tenor. I live near the beach in Atlantic City and plan on bringing my uke to the beach to play. Can anyone recommend a good case that will be sturdy yet able to take on the go while providing ample protection?
Thanks for your help and thanks for reading! |

Go to the marketplace link on the left of your screen and scroll down to the listing for the used Reunion Blues tenor case that was listed recently and see if it's still available. For a soft case, those have a tremendous amount of protection. They're a little bulky, but really nicely made.

A few years ago I bought a "Steady" case in concert size for when I'm taking a single uke to a nearby gig. It's light weight, "soft" but not too soft, shaped more like a hard case, has a pocket that fits my preamp and a cable, and has backpack-type straps that can be stowed out of sight (and snag). I've gotten a lot of use out of it, and love it.
Info at http://cargo.ukerepublic.com/product/steady-carrying-case , tho' lots of local dealers have them (got mine at The Strum Shop in Roseville, CA)
