| NY uke fest is down; we haven't cranked it up in Connecticut yet,so I'm going to go to NJ in Sept. and then to PA in October for the Funky Frets fest. All you great folks I saw in NY. I want to play with you again. So thats my schedule. Come on, I want to hear Django on the uke. You know who you are. Time for uke party! |

The Funky Fret Uke Fest site has been updated with the schedule of performers, workshops they are doing, the instrument raffle that manufactures and our store have donated - with more to come. Added local attractions and other goodies.

The performance and workshop link up includes: Victoria Vox, Lil' Rev, Gerald Ross, The Aloha Boys, Debi Velasco, Ben Carr, Colin Coleman, Curt Sheller and Pete "UncleZac" Zaccagnino
Also, side note - I'm hitting the studio in late August for the long, long ,long in the works jazz ukulele CD. This will be a Jazz Trio CD. Uke Bass and Drums.
And, Funky Frets (music store) will be at the Philly Folk Fest Aug 13, 14, 15, and 16 so stop by and check us out. Jake's concert at the Keswick in Glenside, PA on Thursday the 27th, We'll be at New Jersey Uke 3 Saturday August 29th. And I'm in the studio on August 30th. Whoa - going to be a bit busy as the Summer winds down.
