Interesting. Woot has a fascinating business model. As does Pyle, apparently. Pyle started years ago making high-end audio woofers, and is now a big manufacturer of those trunk-mounted boom-box speakers that make passing cars sound like the occupants are enjoying Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" at 145 dB. It appears that Pyle is now branding low-end musical instruments from Asian factories.
That said, I'm not sure a $21 uke is actually "entry level." A beginner's probably better served by something in the $100 range, like ukes made and marketed by folks like Kala, Ohana, etc.
But also on Woot right now is a factory reconditioned portable air conditioner, for only $299. Given that it's gotten up to 106 here over the past week, I'm tempted ...
