Ukuleles For Peace, a coexistence project comprised of Jewish and Muslim teens from Israel, is on their first US tour! They are a delightful and talented troupe of musicians who have played four shows in New England this past week to standing ovations! They are not just a bunch of cute kids with ukuleles but a group of musicians and performers who know their craft! And they are a cute bunch of kids, too! They fly to Hawai'i tomorrow where they will be one of the headlining acts at the Ukulele Festival in Honolulu. They will return to the east coast on July 21st to do five more performances. You do not want to miss this unique opportunity to see these folks and celebrate their courage and dedication to peace! Here are the tour details:
7/15-7/19 - performances in Hawaii including the 45th Annual Ukulele Festival
7/22 - 7pm at the Actors Temple, 339 W 47th St., NYC
7/24 - 7pm at Dewey Hall, Sheffield, MA
7/25 - 6:30pm in Glastonbury, CT - location TBA
7/27 - 6pm at The Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage, Wash., D.C.
7/28 - Teaneck Jewish Center, Teaneck, NJ
