Hey Everyone! Been a while since I posted here. I am looking for a tenor ukulele with electronics. What's the best you can do for under $500... I prefer one from a good company that will not require a set up! Something smooth and durable to be my every day uke! MAHALO IN ADVANCE!!! |

Goin' with the obvious for this Bulletin Board: You can pick up a great tenor Fluke with hardwood fretboard and K&K or B-Band electronics for under $500. My arsenal includes a mahogany tenor Fluke with B-Band that I've strung with GHS "Bari-Tenor" strings, and it plays great and sounds really good through a preamp and PA. (I also have a wonderful Flea with K&K Twin-Spot that hits the spot sound-wise.)
Not enamored with the Fluke? Kala's another good choice for variety and good electronics.
Let us know what you settle on!
