I don't know how I missed signing up to this board in all this time as I have owned my Firefly banjoeles for some time now, but here I am.
My screen name depicts my latest purchase, a custom ordered Koa Tenor Fluke. But it's even better than that, I live close enough to drive to the Magic Fluke Co. Headquarters in Sheffield, MA, and this last Friday I had the pleasure of being greeted by a friendly staff, including owner Phyliss Webb who helped my put together my custom Fluke order, even allowing me to personally select the solid Koa Top and which solid wood fretboard to be used in the build as well. I added the optional peghead tuners, back strips and Fluke gig bag.
Needless to say I am over the moon with the experience. How super nice everyone at the Magic Fluke co has been, and looking forward to having this highly anticipated Koa Tenor Fluke in my hands in under 2 weeks.
Something tells me there will be more trips to Sheffield and another custom order in the future.
