Just bought a 1950 Martin T-18 Tiple and was wondering if anyone knows how many Tiples Martin made over the years?

Congratulations on your (new) vintage Tiple!

According to Martin Guitars: A Technical Reference, Martin produced 5,120 Tiples between 1919 and 2005 (the last 5 were built in 1990).

The largest yearly totals fell between 1923 and 1927, with the top sales year being 1926 with a total of 681 that year.

Your 1950 is one of 60 T-18s built that year, along with 75 T-15s and 28 T-28s.
