Dearest of friends,
My daughter and i will be touring the west coast this summer.
My wife Carol asked that her ashes be scattered on our annual west coast tour along the route we traveled for 7 years together.
To that end, we will embark on our epic journey of workshops, house concerts, community shows and
aimless wandering.
The tour run from July 7th to August 7th and we'll make stops in Seattle (Dusty Strings), Anacortes, Bellingham, WA, Hood River and Portland, OR, SF, Santa Cruz, Huntington Beach (Island Bazaar), Grass Valley, Modesto (Fun Strummers), and The Strum Shop in the Sacramento area.

I will be touring support of my new Hal Leonard Book: Essential Strums & Strokes: A Treasury of Strum Hand Techniques; as well as new upcoming CD: Claw & Hammer a collection of traditional claw-hammer based music.

| My condolences at the loss of you wife. I had that same experience in 2010: her name was also Carol. Perhaps I'll see you in Modesto. I live nearby. Good luck.

I am saddened to learn that Carol did not win her battle with cancer. She was a glorious addition to this world.
