HELLO
I recently acquired an old soprano ukulele which I believed may have been produced in the 1960's.
I say that because with it there was a 15 minute play Hawaiian ukulele tutor book with it by M M Cole - 1965 edition.
It came in a cardboard box which looks original with SD8026 printed on the side. There is no indication of makers name on the ukulele
and it looks like there was a label inside which has long gone.
It is made of wood (not sure what) and has wood? maybe plastic? tuning pegs.
For me it has a nice bright sound and I am very pleased with it even if it is a mass produced instrument of little value.
However, it would be nice to know a little more about it. Where was it made and who could have made it.
Your help would be very much appreciated and I have enclosed some photos. Should you need more please let me know.
Kind regards
Mel Randall
