It is with great sadness, that I report the passing of long time Bulletin Board moderator, Paul Cundari. For those of you who go back a ways on this board, Paul came in at a turbulent time and helped to calm the waters. Over the years I've been very thankful to have had Paul's counsel and wisdom on how to handle various issues that would come up from time to time. Even though the Bulletin Board is quieter now, it was a relief knowing he was keeping an eye on things. Paul, thanks for everything! You are missed!! |

Paul definitely had the pulse of these discussions. He knew when to step in and also when to just let the discussions run...all in the spirit of keeping things lively but never out of control.
He really was a knowledgeable and wise man. Condolences to his family and all he had touched.

My condolences as well, he will be missed...
A nice picture of him by Catfish1952, contemplating the extraction of catgut strings: http://www.catfish1952.com/album7files/paul_star550.jpg
I understood Paul was also instrumental in the production of the 'Ukulele Daily' volumes.

This is indeed sad news. A nice guy and a true gentleman. As you know, Jim, I just spoke with Paul not too long ago. He was always there for all of us whenever we needed anything. My sincerest condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Paul.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear this. Paul was so great for this board (and for all of us). Rest in Peace, Mr. Cundari, and thank you for all you did. Thank you, too, Jim, for giving us this wonderful online home.

Sad to hear. Although I have not seen him in a few years, I had spent time with Paul and played with him. He was a lovely and kind person.

I just saw this post, and am so sorry to hear of Pauls passing. I remember when he came on to moderate the forum, and made a world of difference. We exchanged emails,... swapped cancer stories... he bought a guitar from me long ago. A kind, unguarded and generous guy. Thank you Jim, for sharing this news.

Oh, how sad to read this!!! He was such a very sweet person and I loved so much to meet him at the NYUF back then... My deep sympathy to you and Liz, Jim! And particularly to his wife and son, my thoughts are with them.
