Anyone ever hear of Howard brand Ukuleles? I purchased one from an estate sale. Said it was originally purchased right after WWII. I cant find any info about it online. Any help would be appreciated. |

Search Tiki King; he has a listing for just about all brands. Chances are it was made by Harmony or Regal & was branded for a store or distributor. Especially if it has a plastic fingerboard that would make it almost certain.

There's another database, by Lardy, which indicates it's a house brand of Guyatone, in Tokyo: http://database.ukulelecorner.co.uk/multi/post-war-far-east. The company only started building ukuleles in 1956 though.
