Hi,
I'm new to this forum and to playing the uke. I'm trying to learn solo ukulele tunes, since I don't sing. I'm also looking for others from my area to connect with, if that's OK. Thanks |

If you're looking for people from you area, Denita, check out the Player Directory on this website. In terms of solo 'ukulele, what kind of music are you interested in? Peace!

Hello, are you new to playing an instrument or just new to ukes? If you're new to instruments, ukes are ideal for beginners. If you have prior musical experience, then becoming competent on uke should be achieved quickly.
With 30 years of ghee-tar experience, after I googled how to tune the things and realized it was the same as the first 4 strings of a guitar with a capo on the 5th fret, I mastered uke in about 30 seconds. Nuttin' to it.
Cheers . . .
