The sensational Hawaiian duo of Bryan Tolentino & Asa Young will visit Island Bazaar in Huntington Beach, CA, the first weekend in May. Bryan is one of the finest ukulele players in Hawaii mixing traditional Hawaiian standards with a bit of variety. Asa brings his great vocals and guitar work! Workshop is Friday, 5/1/09, 7-9PM at $15. Concert is Saturday, 5/2/09, 8-10PM at $20. Call for tix at 714 843-9350 and also check out the website. Featured performer for May is Todd Baio. http://www.toddbaio.com/. There will be a couple of short sets before Todd as well as a jam session and Open Mike to follow the featured performers. The Format is, A song circle from 6 pm to 7 pm. At around 7 we will have 2 or 3 short acts, 15 or 20 minutes, and a featured performance of 30 to 45 minutes.
