San Diego Ukulele Festival
2015 will be the 4th year for Xceptional Music producing the SD Uke fest. This will be our 2nd year at the new facilities on the campus of Cal State San Marcos located just off the 78 freeway North County San Diego. The campus is the perfect venue for the festival. We were able to arrange close proximity parking, use of indoor classrooms, the entire top lawn, as well as the newly designed amphitheater.
The festival features a dynamic mix of live performances, vendor experiences, and workshops. There is something for everyone from those who have never touched a ukulele to the seasoned veteran.

Beginner Uke Workshop in RI
Beginner Ukulele Workshop with Jim Beloff:
This introductory workshop reviews the basics of playing the ukulele including holding, tuning, strumming and making the chords. We will play through a dozen well-known songs learning new chords, strums, tips and techniques along the way. Bring a GCEA soprano-tuned uke and be ready to have a lot of fun. $25. Call to register.
