| Has anyone had any experience selling on consignment with Elderly? I have some vintage and customs that received no interest and thought I might ship them up to Elderly. |

I once put a 1950's era Rickenbacker double neck steel for sale on consignment at Elderly (stupid move on my part - I wish I still had the guitar).
Elderly displayed it on the showroom floor, took about 8 pictures of it and displayed those on their website. The guitar sold in about a week. I got a check shortly afterwards. I can't remember the percentage they took. But it was was worth not having to deal with the buyer and not have to pack and ship the instrument myself.

| I've sold several instruments on consignment with Elderly's over the years. In fact I received a check last week for a Martin they sold for me. They keep 15%. I like working with them. You just sit back and wait for a check. They take care of everything.

| They take 15% over $500 and 20% on items less than that. They have also charged me for repair and set up work that I think may have been a bit of a stretch, but then they do charge a premium on the instrument, so it is a wash in most cases...have sold around 10 items that way with them....
