Sycamore travel uke
A "travel size" with an electric guitar-like peg head. It's got geared tuners (half of a mandolin set). Made of local sycamore (nicely spalted) with a quarter sawn fir top. Has quite a few worm holes in it, filled in the neck, left open elsewhere. Walnut finger board & bridge. Sounds great!

New Hand-Built Soprano
This hand-built soprano is constructed of solid Sapele and features a beautiful rope binding consisting of maple/cherry/Honduras Mahogany. The Sapele has a beautiful grain pattern that produces a natural striping effect. It is similar in tonal quality to mahogany but is crisper, clearer, brighter and slightly louder.
The fret board and bridge are rosewood. Position markers are Paua on the 3/5/7/10/12 position. The tuners are friction tuners with black buttons.
The finish on this ‘ukulele is a hand rubbed blonde shellac.
She is very easy to play and has a very nice sound.

Ozzie Wombat: Muttzukii
Ozzie Wombat is named for its gorgeous highly figured Australian Blackwood [Koa's kissin' cousin Acacia Melanoxylon]top. As usual with my Muttzukii instruments, OzWom combines a worthy but neglected Made In Japan vintage Tourist Mahogany plywood body with a solid high grade top that didn't complete a "set" for a premium ukulele. The wood for the 2pc bookmatched top was acquired from a luthier oriented sawyer in North Queensland.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,...,,,,..,,.It took me a long time and several sets of strings to find OzWom's true Voice. It sounded lackluster until I tuned it to "D" [ADF#B] with its current Kala Red strings.
With this combination, it has a spectacular shimmering crisp sound and distinctive musical "signature". The fingerboard has accurate intonation and medium action. I think it isn't loud enough to be a superior club player, but is confident and versatile enough for most other applications. It is likely that a lighter string set would make it servicable in "C"; but as it is smokin'hot in D, I think someone who enjoys [or is curious about] D tuning will find OzWom most pleasant.,,,,.,,,,.,,,,,.,,,,.OzWom has, as is usual for my instruments, original body dings, quirks as well as nicks & scratches due to my learning curve. If "showroom fresh" is your mantra, you won't like Ozzie.,.,.,.,.,.,If you think you might be interested but want to make your choice "hands on"; send check or pay by PayPal, try Ozzie 14 days and if you decide it isn't right for you, email for return instructions. Stewart Banjo Uke
This is a great little Stewart banjo uke. It is very similar to the LeDomino line that they produced. It has a very nice rosewood fingerboard (no dyed poplar here) and beautiful bird's eye maple ressonator. I put a new no-knot tailpiece, aquilla strings, mahogany bridge and replaced some hardware on it. (sorry, the hooks and nuts don't quite match, its hard to find the old stuff!)

Vintage Kumalae
A style 2 Kumalae soprano ukulele made sometime after l9l5 and before l925. This uke is made of Hawaiian Koa wood. The sound hole is surrounded with a fine Inlay design of rope binding. On the front head of the uke Is KUMALAE, under that, GOLD AWARD, under that P.P.I.E.--1915. Then the red and gold crest of KUMALAE (see photo). The strings were replaced recentley. It is in overall good condition except for a couple of cracks on the front below the bridge, and a couple on the back. The cracks have been professionally repaired, and show no more movement. The sides of the body are perfect, the neck is staight, no warping or bows. Old carrying bag that the uke came in included. It sounds great.

Banjo Ukulele for sale
Maybell Slingerland Banjo Ukulele
A banjo ukulele from the 20s-30s in good nick for its age.
I have since had the instrument with a Luthier, who made 2 bridges for me and neatened it up. I cannot get used to the dainty neck, and have decided to sell the instrument. This Maybell has 15 frets with a shaped reflector plate separated with 6 spacers from the pot.
If you remove the reflector plate you can see the word SLINGERLAND on the dowel.
Included are 2 bridges: One with an ebony, and one with a bone top.
There is a new set of strings on the instrument, which I have not trimmed off.
There is no case, but it will be packed well and sent to the person who wants to buy her.

Pohaku bari for sale. 19" scale. Pictures are at the above link to the Pohaku site. This is a great sounding and looking bari. I doubt you'll find any vintage bari that sounds as nice. I've played it with both a Favilla and a Martin bari and the Pohaku was louder and brighter, with longer sustain and a more complex tone.
The fret markers are really cool. You can't see it in the pics but there is a thin strip of tourquise on the bottom of the markers.
I started with bari ukes but now only play concert and soprano. The bari has just been sitting in it's case. The case is included. Purchase price was over a thousand bucks.

Custom Augustino Loprinzi OOO guitar

This guitar has was a custom model made specifically for a guitar trade show. I bought it from him after they had used it at the trade show. This model normally sells for $3200 new. It has a beautiful Skita Spruce top,very nice Indian Rosewood back and sides,abalone Soundhole rosette and top purfling, gold Grover Tuners, martin style plastic Binding. It is kept in a new TKL Professional series Case(a month old) which retails for $280. Has very beautiful sound and has been professionally set up, and is in fantastic condition.

Big Bufo Baritone Bass Ukulele
This instrument is made by Owen Holt and is constructed with faultless workmanship.
There are no issues, it is as new. I purchased this new in 2006.
I'm not playing it much, but someone should.
I asked Owen what he would like to build and he suggested this Macassar with koa combination. I wanted the F-holes. Equivalent to the current Level 1 package ($1300US) but with upgrade to AAA Koa. This is the description provided by Owen:

done with nylon strings, but
this instrument has 2 nuts
and 2 saddles and can use
poly strings as well.
