New Listing Blackbird Savoy Guitar with Mi-Si
I have a Blackbird Savoy with Mi-Si and original gigbag that I'd be open to re-homing if somebody is interested. It's in excellent condition. $2,100 shipped CONUS. Outside CONUS, + actually shipping cost. This is a really great guitar. I love its tone, comfortable shape and excellent playability. That fact that it is super durable is an added bonus. While I'm pretty sure I'll want to replace it in time, I do want to experience a lot of different guitars as part of my learning journey. Those of you not familiar with the Blackbird Savoy, its unique body shape makes it feel like a 3/4 size guitar, but it has very full tone and rivals even the best guitars. You'll find that the reviews on it are extremely positive. The Savoy is shown here with my Blackbird Farallon tenor uke:

New Listing Mya Moe Master Grade Mango Super Soprano
I am reluctantly re-homing this gorgeous Mya Moe Super Soprano. Recent rum-fueled UAS episode while on Maui has me owning one too many of this approximate size and this one is such a wonderful player, someone ought to be using it. A remarkable set of master grade curly mango was used to create the body. Creates a bright, sweet tone. The extra scale length gives it a little more projection and some additional real estate on the fret board for those of us who can't QUITE squeeze our fingers onto a standard soprano comfortably. It isn't the "Cascade" series, but for aesthetics this was built with the lighter colored maple fretboard, however it has the standard mahogany neck. Walnut and Maple combination on both the rope and signature headstock. Overall I think it came out looking very nice. Plenty of additional information and photo documentation of its creation are available by searching MM instrument gallery for #2123. Condition is truly excellent. No dings, scratches, etc -- I've taken great care of her. Cost was approximately $1,850. Asking $1,500 (or best offer) with FedEx ground shipping included. Sorry, no trades this time. Please message me with any questions. Thanks, Flea-people!

SOLD Koaloha Crown Bridge Tenor
This near-mint Koaloha crown bridge tenor uke was purchased new in 2004 and has never been taken out of the home. The crown bridge is no longer being made and these are hard to come by! The uke is loud and has great action and intonation. All koa with ebony fretboard. 15 frets to the body. The roomy fretboard lets you meet your musical challenges with ease! Great for those with larger hands. Currently strung reentrant with Aquilas. Gig bag included. This is a great uke and it just doesn't get enough play time. Would like to re-home it where it will get the attention it deserves. $1000 shipped, continental U.S. only. Will consider other destinations if buyer agrees to pay actual shipping cost. Paypal only, please.

Rebel Thinbody Solid Sapele Mahogany Concert Ukulele
Rebel is a small, innovative ukulele company in Thailand. This is a very rare instrument, to say the least. I had the hardest time finding one as only a limited number were made. I ultimately bought the only one I could find from a shop in Italy. It is an awesome instrument. I put Worth fluorocarbon, brown, low G strings on her and she sings! Rebel has defied the laws of physics with this slim-line ukulele. It projects like crazy and sounds really beautiful. I don't know how they did it. It is only 36mm (1.4") deep and yet it projects better than many full-size concert ukuleles. The construction is impeccable as is the finish. Specification Size: Conert (Slim) Top, Side, Back: Mahogany Scale: 15” Fretboard: 17-Fret Neck: Maple Nut & Saddle: TUSQ Headstock Rebel Logo: Laser Engraved Fretboard: Maple Fret Markers (Rebel Signature): Mahogany Inlay Fret Stripe: Maple Bridge: Mahogany Tuners: Friction Tuners Finish: Gloss Rebel Gig Bag The following is a review of the Rebel Ukulele Company as found in The Ukulele Review: "Rebel is an ukulele maker from Thailand. The company is run by a bright young man named Peng. I got to meet Peng at NAMM as well as a few of the team there, and the instruments they brought were very impressive. So much so that we brought 4 of them back to show you and put more on order. I knew they made the KoAloha Opio line, which is fantastic, but I wanted to know more about them so I messaged Peng for some background info on Rebel; who they are, where they’re going, why they’re so rebellious.. Here’s Pengs response and some insight into this new ukulele company. 'The Rebel” team is a small team of ten people who love doing something different. We have full-time graphic designers and professional luthiers working together collaboratively. The guy I introduced to you at NAMM, “Yo”, is the head of the design team. He received many awards from his work of arts and films and he loves ukuleles and guitars! He was the man behind the limited KoAlana box (later became KoAloha Opio), Baan Ukulele’s website, accessories, leather bags and many of our ukulele and guitar custom works. All of our craftsmen had been trained by KoAloha folks for years from the ground up when we first built the factory in Bangkok in 2011. Our lead luthier named “Chote” was once Paul Okami’s apprentice. He was a fine carpenter with over 20 years of experience and he now leads the Rebel custom shop and oversees the KoAloha Opio production. We further studied from Wiroon, the best guitar-making teacher in Thailand who was once Jose Romanillos’s student. I first learned how to build an ukulele in 2009 from Mike Uyeno, a private teacher in Hawaii, who has a small workshop in his own garage. Every steps mostly done by hand in old-fashioned ways. Later that year, I was trained by Paul and Griz to understand the ins and outs of KoAloha building methodology. I learned the craftsmanship, technology, creativity and the Aloha spirit that go into every instrument. That was the seed and the beginning of our journey. We couldn’t have made it without all our teachers and those helping hands. The Rebel is young and reckless! …hahaha. We know we still have a lot to learn. The direction and goal we have for “The Rebel” is to create something different for the music community especially for ukuleles and guitars. Never forget to give back to the community and never forget where we came from. With the blend of good taste in design and fine craftsmanship, we’re trying our best and couldn’t be happier for the support we’ve got! Mahalo for your friendship Rebel ukuleles are made in Thailand by the crew that makes the KoAloha Opio line. The Rebel line offers quality tone in all solid instruments at a great value. This ukulele is an ultra slim soprano with plenty of projection. This instrument features an all solid sapele body, and maple neck and fretboard. It includes a Rebel thin body padded gig bag. Here is a little information regarding sapele mahogany taken from the Taylor Guitars site: "Sapele is a highly sustainable, relatively fast-growing wood. Tonally, it does everything that mahogany does, with a little extra treble zing. Goes Well With Everything. Like ovangkol, it’s a great all-purpose tonewood that will deliver a consistent, balanced tone in a variety of playing applications, from fingerstyle to strumming."

Martin Concert Uke Unique Model OC
The Concert version of Martin's famous O Soprano uke. Made in the latter 1920's. Bar Frets. All Mahogany with no body binding. A couple of repaired hairline back-cracks and probable over-spray on the back. This uke has great action and playability and is light as a feather. A one-owner uke, personalized on the peg-head: "Lee Lee". Plenty Good Mojo. No mention of this model in any of the Martin books, so it's rare, maybe important and possibly unique. SOLD Kinnard Honduran Mahogany Baritone, Series 1
For sale: Kinnard Honduran Mahogany, Series 1 baritone uke with hard case. This is a beautiful example of John Kinnard’s precision work. While this is a used instrument it is in excellent condition, with just some shiny spots on the satin finish (in the usual locations: upper right bout, lower left bout, neck). There are no dings or dents, just a small flea bite on the headstock lower edge and a glue-in/water mark on the label. Please see photo album for more photos than attached. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmpFHdU1 Some specs: * top/side/back wood: Honduran mahogany * Side Soundport on upper bout * scale length: 19" * frets to the body: 13 * finish: satin throughout * bone nut/saddle * nut width: 1.5" * saddle string spacing: 1 13/16" * Fretboard: rosewood, Radiused * neck carve: low profile C-shape * Gotoh UPT tuners * rosewood tail graft, * rosewood headplate with mother of pearl logo * Strap buttons on neck and tail * Hardcase included * New Mya-moe strings: DGBE ************ The 19” scale and design of this instrument lend to sounding best with higher tension strings. This is usually accomplished with thicker strings or stepped up tuning. The sound is clear, articulate, and very even. The 19" scale length sounds very good tuned Bb, reentrant tuning with SouthCoast Mediums: https://app.box.com/s/0u5fpsg8fe519cxtr5jzh7uadjyh7qaw Here’s very recent sample in standard DGBE tuning (Myamoe strings – currently how it is strung): https://app.box.com/s/13xj6gjdv9nbmu3n4qh75jngi5rf2x33

Regal Le Domino Soprano Uke - Excellent Condition!
I have for sale my sweet little Le Domino soprano, made in the 1930's in Chicago. It's in excellent condition: Elderly Instruments has just realigned the neck, replaced the nut, dressed the frets, installed two ebony strap buttons, and strung it with Ko'Olau 'Alohi clears. It appears that no other repairs have been performed previously or are needed. The body is birch, with a poplar neck, I believe. The original friction tuners hold well. The action is nice. The black lacquer finish and domino decals are in exceptional condition! The uke has cream colored binding, a gold Le Domino decal on the headstock, a rosette of dominos around the sound hole, and tiny dominos numerically marking the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th frets - way cool! The decal of 3 dominos below the bridge has a slight smudge - see photo. There are no nicks, cracks, or gouges.

SOLD Rebel Thinbody Solid Sapele Mahogany Soprano Ukulele
My retirement hobby is to chip away at my "bucket list" of ukuleles. I seek out interesting instruments, enjoy them for several weeks and then sell them for less than I paid. The buyer of one of these beautiful ukuleles benefits. It is a win/win. I am willing to take a loss for the pleasure I receive. I'M EAGER TO SELL. On to my next instrument. MAKE AN OFFER. This beautifu, solid sapele mahoganyl ukulele defies the laws of physics. It is only 35mm (1.378 in) deep, which makes it very comfortable to play, yet it has the volume and projection of a standard size soprano (even better than some of those). The finish is a very attractive, high gloss and the tone is really lovely. It is a rare instrument to find because Rebel is a small ukulele-building company in Thailand and only makes a limited number of instruments per year. This one is only a few weeks old. Kiwaya KMS-K
Bought this a couple of months from another forum member. This uke is in excellent condition and plays as good as it looks. The previous owner installed vintage style friction tuners with ivoroid buttons that work very nicely. I will include the original ones in the case. I am selling to thin out some of my herd and need funds for another toy. NO Trades please. I could only find one mark to speak of. Tried to show in photos but it will not show up. Comes with fancy hardshell case. Photos from an ad last month. Lowered price and relisted.

A beautiful, well made instrument. I’m new to ukulele, I immediately realized that a soprano neck is just too small for my guitarist fingers, I’ve since bought a super concert (tenor neck). *Note: Ukuleles can be labeled “Made” or “Handcrafted in Hawaii” (as this one is) if 50% of the work is done in Hawaii. In this case, I believe the body and neck are built in China, and the instrument is completed, finished, and set up in Hawaii. As a result, the cost isn’t as great as the K brands, but the instrument is in their class.

Custom Hive Ziricote/Adirondack Spruce Tenor w/MiSi Pickup
Due to an upcoming move back to the mainland in the next few months, I unfortunately need to sell off some ukes from my personal collection. I dont' want to spend the money to ship all of my ukes from Hawaii to the mainland, so I have been trying to decide which ukes I am able to part with. I reluctantly decided to re-home this Hive tenor because I already have 3 ukes with similar tone woods: 1 with African Blackwood w/sap wood stripe/Sinker Redwood top, another with African Blackwood/Spruce top, and another with Macassar Ebony/Cedar top. I've had the other ukes for awhile and they all sound great, so I'm re-homing this Hive tenor. I will probably regret it, so snatch it while you can before I change my mind! lol Up for sale is this as new, beautiful custom Hive Ziricote/Adirondack Spruce tenor that Andrew (HMS/theukulelesite.com)received along with 2 other Hive tenors back in late April 2018 and was featured on Andrew's Podcast #27, with Tobias Elof demo-ing the 3 Hive tenors. I had 1st pick of the 3 Hive tenors and to me, this uke was the best out of the 3, and Andrew agreed. This Hive tenor was hand built by luthier Jake Maclay of West Virginia. Hive ukuleles are built with superior craftsmanship creating exquisite tone, deep resonance, great balance from the rich lows to the crisp highs, superb playability, and aesthetic beauty. Ziricote back & sides, Adirondack Spruce top, Ebony fretboard/bridge/headstock faceplate & backplate, side sound port, pin bridge w/bridge pins, MiSi pickup installed by Joel at HMS, a 1-3/8" nutwidth with flat fretboard, NOT radiused, and professional Waverly tuners for precise and smooth tuning. This uke comes with a brand new Ameritage Silver hardshell case. Jake's wait list is 12 - 18 months, before he can start building your custom uke. You can snag this awesome tenor with no wait at a great discounted price! With the premium tone wood upgrade and added MiSi pickup, I paid over $4200+, including tax. I am asking $3450 which includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail Express 2 Day Shipping, tracking #, shipping receipts, insurance, and professional packing to ensure you receive this awesome uke undamaged due to the shipping process. I only accept payment via PayPal and I pay the PayPal fees out of my pocket. **If you were to custom order a Hive uke from Jake, you have to pay for shipping yourself, which is NOT included in the price of the uke.** This Hive tenor is in new condition. I am more of a collector than a player due to a very, very busy and active lifestyle which doesn't give me much time to play my ukes. Here's the link to Podcast #27 with Tobia Elof playing this exact Hive tenor, which is at about the 17:55 minute mark of the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3uZ_ybOBqE&list=FLJLEy11vgBfApYi7ceOIVbg&index=23&t=1077s Pictures were taken with my smartphone. Any shiny spots in the pics are from lights and camera flash.
