1940's Kay banjolele {soprano}
1940's Kay banjolele. Soprano size, 14" scale. Really nice shape, with pure vintage tone. A friend who's a high end banjo maker looked it over when I got it, and said it was great! It recently got a new natural skin head. I've added a resonator back, and an armrest. The resonator really projects the sound out there. And, the armrest makes it much more comfortable to play. The rim digs into your arm, otherwise. Both are easily removable, if you would choose to. Also has new Grover tuners. Includes the original ones. It's a great, playable instrument. It has a professional setup with low action (0.5mm at the first fret, 2.5mm at the 12th fret) and is very comfortable to play.
