Ko'olau has a flourocarbon greyish purple string called "ALOHI" strings coming out...slighlty different from those flouros from Japan.....made elsewhere... and then a different set
"MAHANA" strings monofiliamnt nylon more like a Pro Arte Feel and type in addition to their standardGold line. |

If you have had a chance to evaluate these strings could you give us your impressions compared to other strings? If you don't yet have them, could you do it later? I'm especially interested in how they sound on a Pono. Right now I have Aquilas.

I really like the Ko'olau Golds, so
these new strings sure got me interested-
looking forward to checking out the
demo video.
You know, you're alright, MGM!
Thanks,

| I hope this is not changing the subject because it's about a different make, but it's still about strings. Is there any chance Koaloha will be offering for sale the strings that come with the pikake concert? I love them. I know Worth clear are similar, but still wondering.

Maybe its naive of me to make an assumption but I had assumed the strings on the new Koaloha ukes were their "own" Koaloha strings?
Is this the case MGM?
