Someone(a new seller)is offering a Kamaka tiki concert on ebay (item #260936335327).
There are only a few pics, but in one of them you can clearly see a top crack. I wrote the following note to the seller:
"Hi. It is clear from the photos that there is a crack in this ukulele, extending from the fretboard to the sound hole. Do you know if this has been repaired previously, or is it an open crack?
Thanks very much"
I just received this response:
"Nice try STUPID,perhaps you need GLASSES,If there was a crack i would have said so,ma.be you can,t read the description i put in there,it CLEARLY gives condition which is SUPERB,If you can,t afford then don,t try silly games.Goodbye and don,t respond again."
Just warning you. Here is the picture in question:

Quite a PLEASANT fellow isn't he.....
OOPS!I mean isn,t he. i DON,T want to me.ss UP my punctuation or my use of CAPITOLS. Maybe he was trying to say "in code" that HIS STUPID GLASSES are CLEARLY SUPERB.
This would be funny if there weren't so many of these rude and dishonest sellers out there.
Thanks for spreading the word Ernie.

| Good spotting, Ernie. He's now disclosed the crack in the description. Did you get an apology from him? Thought not.

| Sometime crime pays. His starting bid was $500, but before he disclosed the crack, someone bid $777.77. Then, the crack was disclosed. An incremental bid of $787.77 was made. The $777.77 bid should have been retracted and the winner should have got the uke for $500.
