We have a special feature this time that is really cool. Also, we have an interview with Chuck Moore of Moore Bettah Ukes, a Kala give-away, reviews and other great stuff.

| Regarding the Kala KA-SEM, you say: "The body is solid mahogany and the neck and headstock are, too." Are you sure? The Kala web site says otherwise.

Yep, it's NOT solid, I stand corrected. It is a very lightweight and nicely balanced uke and has a BIG voice.

I wrote to Kala via the web site and asked them this: "Is the KA-SEM series solid or laminate?" I received this reply: "Hi Jerry--It is laminate. Thanks--Mike."

I stand corrected. I thought for sure that Mike said it was solid mahogany. Guess not.

Yep, thanks for bringing that to my attention. Mike said in the e-mail to me that it was laminated. My recollection was wrong. Sorry about that. I corrected that and reposted the issue.

| Just downloaded and skimmed it... I plan to read the entire issue this weekend. Great interview with WASHDC metro's own Suzanne Brindamour, a very talented lady and musician. I look forward to the Moore Bettah article. Another fantastic Kala uke giveaway! Oh yeah! Thanks again for a wonderful publication. Cheers and Twangs! T-Bob
