| I'm considering getting an Ohana CK-50 concert. Can any of you please give me feedback on this model, as well as the other Ohana concerts? Also what is your opinion of Ohana ukuleles? |

A few months back I was considering the CK-50 also. At MGM's booth In Cerritos, I compared it head to head with the Kala KA-KC-CT cedar top concert. The Ohana wasn't bad, but I thought the Kala was louder, and crisper sounding. Especially 5th. fret and above. Fit and finish were pretty equal. The price being about the same, I bought the Kala.
Doesn't usually matter to me, but the Kala has geared tuners.
I swap the high g for a low G every once in a while, for a change of scenery. The Kala carries it off well. Makes two ukes out of one.

I have the Ohana CK-50G which has a gloss finish. It's a really nice uke and you can hear in on the the first Barnkicker's CD. It's very loud and projects well. I also have the CK-70RB which has a round back like an ovation guitar. I keep this uke at work and I think it's a nice sounding and well made instrument, although the round back can make it a little tricky to hold on to.
