Bring an instrument, a few extra copies of your favorite music, music stand and a stool if you have one. I look forward to meeting the others around town that love to PLAY and be in the music mix. I have a basket full of percussion, a pro electric Yamaha P-80 keyboard, extra uke and guitar... Join me! = ) Let's play!
The creative collaboration clubhouse is also available for TIME SHARE if you want to practice, jam, teach a lesson or do some other kind of business. Rent by the hour, day, whatever. I'm open to possibilities. Drop me an email!

Herb Ohta Jr Concert & Workshop
Herb will be in Dallas for TWO nights. On 9/16 there will be a beginner workshop on strums followed by a concert. On 9/17, there is an intermediate workshop on Hawaiian vamps followed by an advanced workshop on creating solos and chord melodies. Workshops are $35 each or $30 each if you sign-up for two. Concert is $20 in advance or $15 if you sign-up for at least one workshop.

Are you tempted by the sweet sound of the ukulele? Learn to play with Greg Hawkes. Strum your way to fun! The ukulele is becoming more popular than ever and it's fun to play!
If you've recently acquired a ukulele and would like to learn to play, or if you already know a few chords and would like to expand your technique and repetoire, then this is the class for you. We'll start by learning some basic chords and strums, then start playing some songs. Each week we'll learn new songs and chords. The only requirement is a ukulele and a desire to have fun.

Greg Hawkes is the famed keyboardist and co-founder of The Cars (1977-1987), who helped define the sounds of the 80’s with his signature keyboard style heard on The Cars’ “Let’s Go” and “Just What I Needed,” as well as his arpeggiated and syncopated synth lines on “Shake it Up” and “Heartbeat City.” Since his days with the Cars, he released "The Beatles Uke," an album of his favorite Beatles tunes on ukulele. greghawkesmusic.com

Join us for the 2nd annual E Ho'omau 'Ukulele Workshop & Retreat in the the heart of beautiful Sonoma Valley Wine Country at Westerbeke Ranch for 3 days and 2 nights.
