Iwas just looking at Ukes at Bernunzio Music's site, they have one for sale for $195.00. This particular one is from the 60s. Did you get a better deal?

Have you played a Martin baritone? ...if so, how does the Giannini compare?

Giannini was (is?) a brazilian instrument company. They built rosewood guitars and other strings in the 70's till ?. Some were wierd, others fine!
sincerely, dave.

Try playing a Favilla Baritone Uke. The sound is impressive.

Yes, I love the Favilla. My sister and my mom both have one, they are very deep and mellow. Sadly, I just bought one through the eBay auction web site, and it turns out to have been refinished. It looks real pretty but sounds bad, very thin, the refinishing ruined it, apparently. Anybody know if it would be worth sanding it all off?
