A few months ago I created a Note to Tab Tool for personal use. I wanted something that would aid in creating simple Tab riffs. If you have a piece of sheet music, but don't read notation, this tool is an easy way to tab a short riff or melody. I recommend you learn to read notation, and this tool may help. I decided to make it available to other players that may find it useful. This is a bare bones Web app. If you desire a full featured app that supports both notation and tab, I recommend TablEdit.
Tab files can not be saved or printed, but you can copy and paste your input into a Word Processor document. You will need the font installed, otherwise you will just see alphanumeric characters. I have provided the font for download, but understand it is mapped to the online keyboard.
