Are there any other members from NOLA area who'd like to start a group for fun? |

Hello. If you go to https://www.fleamarketmusic.com/directory/state.asp?ID=19 you'll find a listing of ukers in your area. I goolged New Orleans uke clubs but was unable to find any. While I do enjoy an occasional strum with a uke club/group, personally I prefer playing with folks who play different instruments. A bass player, a uker, and a lap steel player makes for a fabulous combo. In this regard, Craigslist is a decent source for finding local musicians. If that type of thing interests you, search through the NOLA craigslist musician listings at https://neworleans.craigslist.org/search/muc
Cheers . . .

Best place to find other players is probably the Neutral Ground Coffee House in Uptown.
They used to have an open night "Uke Joint" night once a month, though I don't see one scheduled at the moment. There are other "Uke Acts" like Savarez the Clown and also the Genial Orleanians scheduled at the moment, and the proprietor, Philip Melancon is known to get off the piano and pull out his old Martin.
