Hello Folks
My name is Jake and I am ukulele player from London in the UK. My day job is teaching ukes in schools and to adults in classes , I've also written and performerd my own material for many years. Lockdown has brought these two elements together and I have been doing fortnightly shows with my son called the Cream of Tartar show.
Essentially the show is I play my own songs ( not just on uke but using guitar , banjo, piano and accordion ) . You the audience though play the songs as well from the pre prepared uke songbook I make as a scrolling pdf. all of this and many of the songs can be found on my website. It's free ,decidedly left field & very silly at times and as far as I know quite unique in the Uke fraternity. As It's on zoom I'd like folks from as far away as possible to join in !
