| I think we got a scammer, more info on the way. Know your seller, KPA model, kanilea he does not take ad down after uke paid, no returns on email, texts, everything for a week |

This is extremely unfortunate. I've taken down both ads and deleted the account.
I encourage everyone to take whatever steps you can to confirm a seller's legitimacy before sending money. Requesting a video chat is one good way to weed out the scammers as they get better at making counterfeit posts.
Even if you know the poster, other sites have recently experienced people cloning forum profiles to lend legitimacy to their fake ads.
Be careful out there!

| I just got scammed by the same guy! Good communication. Legit looking pictures but as soon as payment made no response from my messages. What are you doing in regards to this scam. I paid through PayPal. I�ll try stopping payment through them. Curious what you are doing. Thanks, Mike

| Hi JohnnyUtah. I've so sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, there isn't much that we can do once money has changed hands. Our best defense is to be diligent and try to catch these scammers early, before they are successful at convincing someone to send them money. We do take down the ads and delete their accounts as soon as we know that something is amiss. I too have been scammed in the past, and your best bet is to pursue reimbursement through PayPal. I have had good luck in the past with them.
