Virtual International Winter Ukefest
Warm up with Strathmore�s UkeFest this winter! Join friends and faculty from around the world for a virtual ukulele weekend full of special topics workshops, jamming, performances, and camaraderie. Tobias Elof, Tony Mizen, Jeff Peterson, and Sonia de los Santos join Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer to teach you all kinds of interesting techniques, from slack-key to early classical to folk, swing, and more.
This event is intended for advanced beginner to advanced players. Novice and beginner students are advised to prepare with a beginner course prior to Virtual Winter Ukefest, or plan to sit in on classes.

Kinetic Ukes presents a "Singing with the Ukulele" workshop with Eve Goldberg
Do you feel challenged when you try to play and sing at the same time? You're not alone! Canadian ukulele instructor extraordinaire, Eve Goldberg, will help us explore some basic tips and tricks for singing and playing at the same time, including identifying the first few notes of a song and finding comfortable keys for your songs. We�ll also look at how to fit the words to your strumming or picking pattern and how to get better at understanding the way the singing and playing click together. With a little practice, everyone can get better at singing while they play their ukulele!
