California Uke Academy HALLOWEEN RETREAT
Our fifth ukulele retreat features the wonderful team of Sarah Maisel & Craig Chee teaching extended, day long sessions amongst the pines and fresh air of Alpine Meadows (So. Cal not the Tahoe Ski Area).
As we did last year, we'll have a Halloween Spook-u-lele Party with optional costumes and goodies!

Kimo Hussey Ukulele Master Class and Concert at Blackbird Guitars
We are excited to announce renowned ukulele player and teacher Kimo hussey will be at the Blackbird workshop on November 9th for a workshop and concert. He will share some great techniques over his decades of teaching experience. Following the workshop, there will be a concert along with some Hula courtesy of Herman Tachera. Sarah: Life After the 3rd Fret
We all play in ukulele groups, and we all learn to play and strum the same thing. In this class, we will focus on different ways to change chords, so you can enhance the sound of the group.
