Jim Beloff performs his "Uke Can't Be Serious" concerto with the Santa Rosa Young People's Chamber Orchestra on Sunday night March 10th. The program also includes works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Vivaldi and Ives as well as Beloff's song "Charles Ives." Advance Tickets: $15 adults; $5 youth; $10 group At the Door: $20 adults; $10 youth.

This afternoon of uke fun begins with a workshop for non-players and beginners led by Jim Beloff followed by a concert with Jim & Liz. Bring your own ukulele or purchase one using recommendations via the URL link. The workshop will last for 90 minutes and has an age minimum of 8 years old. The Sounding Board presents Uke U
UKE U is The Sounding Board's first intensive all day teaching event for ukulele players and fans. Ukulele masters Jim & Liz Beloff, Ron Gordon and Amy Kucharik will lead six hour-long workshops (participants choose three) tailored to uke players of all abilities. The daytime event will also include an open mic, jams, lunch and vendors. The evening concert will feature all of the workshop leaders.
