I loved it and almost drove my co-workers nuts. They told me I needed practice. Supportive boyfriends with music ability who have been really patient have helped. I now play a mahogany Mahalo uke, "Princess Likelike". I love to unwind after work by playing. I still love the Belof books, "Gems" the most, (and the Dance of the Sugar-plum fairy -awesome! so heavy metal!). Since I lowered my g-string one octave I am now playing from a Hawaiian music book with tab (although I sight-read also). Waiting on tables in a restaurant is my day job, and I like Bikram yoga, theatre, dance and international-film-festivals as well.
