She formerly sang and recorded six albums with the experimental rock band PAIN TEENS in Houston, TX. She has been playing and writing songs with THE MOONLIGHTERS since 1998, and has written all their original songs for three cd releases, available nationwide. She has been teaching ukulele since 1998. In June 2005, The MOONLIGHTERS wrote songs for a new off-Broadway musical called "Big Times." In May 2002 they traveled to Europe for a tour of Germany and Switzerland. They also performed on two Jazz Cruises aboard the Queen Elizabeth II, and were lauded as the freshest act aboard by DOWNBEAT magazine.
